In today's modern world, many people are looking for a great career and happiness. Happiness is hard to understand that it depends on people. Many people now think a good career is the key to happiness. However, others hold a different stance. I agree with both sides of the argument to some extent. This essay first considers the argument that a good career can bring happiness. It will then consider the counter arguments.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why I agree that a good career is the key to happiness. Firstly, high income and money as the most significant symptom of wealth, possessing a lot of money has become a unique pursuit of many people, especially young generation, around the world. They are convinced that happiness can buy by sufficient money. Secondly, high standard of living, a high income means people will have more money to buy thing to improve their standard of living. Sometimes the things such as the goods can improve there live. Example in food they could buy the expensive seafood to be they’re eating that they never buy before. They also can live bigger house. That’s all is an example for increasing of standard of living. On the other hand, I disagree to some extent. To begin, have an honest and balanced relationship with yourself (understanding your needs, understanding your goals and dreams, understanding which road you want to take). That is easily way to happiness for many people. Do not work hard. Moreover, if we have a good career then we cannot have time for family.
