A Dawn of Porn Nowadays, there is a very dangerous threat that is destroying our marital and social relationships and ruining the lives of men and women, boys and girls all over the world. It 's an "Epidemic Attacking Human Dignity". This issue is pornography. Pornography has been there long ago before video or even photography as Rome is the birthplace of pornography since the sixteenth century and by this century, it arrived and exploded in a big way but the new technologies have altered the ways such images are presented. Technology has brought pornography straight to people starting from public cinemas to video stores. It moved from DVDS and digital TVs and the invention of the digital camera to the internet which is accessible anywhere and anytime. So what is pornography? In its original meaning, pornography literally means "writing about prostitutes" from the Greek "porne" (prostitute) and graphein (to write) and was defined as any work of art displaying the life of prostitutes. The very definition of pornography now is subjective so it 's anything that can be considered as unacceptable according to the common beliefs of the society. As pornography has found its way nearly to every home, this paper focuses mainly on the new wide-spread epidemic of pornography, which is attacking the Egyptian society severely and fiercely. Pornography is driving technology nowadays that brings it straight to each home. It started in public cinemas, video stores, DVDs and digital TVs that brought it directly to each home because people want porn without anyone knowing about it. Dario Betti, an analyst at London-based digital media consultancy Ovum, says: 'Like it or not, pornography drives each new, convenient visual technology, and 3G, which combines powerful new media applications, will be no different.
