Zoos Myth And Reality By Rob Laidlaw
The state of Florida is considering whether or not to ban the captivity of wild/exotic animals . I think this consideration should be a action since animals are mistreated by being caged or malnourished and more .

The Florida consideration should be a action so wild/exotic animals can stop being captive . Since they are in inhumane facilities including ones that have animals fighting and scarring and wounding each other to water filled with excrement . As well as primates having no areas to climb according to "Zoos Myth and Reality by Rob Laidlaw ". Most facilities that animals are in cause emotional and mental pain to the animal . As well in some cases the animal is felt that it has a lack of freedom

    Albee used many literary devices in The Zoo Story. The first device is the anti-hero. An anti- hero is the main protagonist but lacks qualities of a hero. Jerry is an anti- hero and accepts his position as social outcasts. Along with the anti-hero, Albee uses satire. Satire adds humor to comment on human nature and social constructs, Albee uses these devices in The Zoo Story to comment on the way different social classes choose to view and ignore each other in American society, especially the really poor and rich classes. The only thing that separates these two groups is their money, and for either to characterized as outcasts or “animals” would be unfair. This is illustrated with the character of Peter, who is very rich. who Albee uses as an example by having Jerry bring him down to an animalistic level so that the reader can see that he is just like everyone else even though Peter is rich.
