Fallen is a thought-provoking -person narrative film that begins and ends with the voice of the film’s narrator and protagonist, Azazel. The movie, which is based on his personal story, opens with an intriguing self-introduction that snares the audience’s attention from the outset: “I want to tell you about the time I almost died.” As the movie proceeds, Azazel reveals that he is responsible for killings, as well as the false indictment and subsequent suicide of a detective named John Hobbes. Azazel himself is described as an “evil spirit of the wilderness.” Where Genesis 1 and John 1 narrate all thigs to have been created by God, Genesis 3:15 explicitly mentions an enmity between humans and the serpent. (Revelation 20:2 also mentions this snake.) Dr. Stephen Ray argues “God is the causal effect of everything” and that “if God didn’t create Azazel, there would be no evil.” This paper will reflect on some of the various perspectives of the powers of the evil spirts and explore to what…

"for safety is not a gadget but a state of mind" and so is hope. When you are facing obstacles all you think of is finding a solution no matter what . That was the case when the Joad family had no other way but to find a better place to live in.They decided to leave everything behind and go to California. The place that many families decided to go to believing they can find a good life waiting for them. Kind of similar to Christopher MCcandless's story except his parent's mistreatment is the reason behind his pilgrimage. He decided to move to a far place where he can find safety and hope and star a new life.My family's story could also relate to Christopher's but instead of family issues we had society and environment issues. We did not live in peace and all we wanted is to find a better place.…

The diary starts on 2nd September 1991. Zlata is an eleven-year-old girl who was used to live an ordinary life. She goes to school, plays piano and solfeggio, she takes tennis lessons, has choir practice, watches MTV, loves pizza, plays with friends and does all the things a child loves to do. Zlata and her parents spend their weekends and free time in Crnotina, where they restored an old house. On 19th October 1991 her daddy is called up by the police reserve and has to go there frequently. On 23rd October she sees terrible pictures on TV about the war in Dubrovnik. They send packages to Durovnik to help Srdjan, their friend and the people there. Zlata doesn't really understand politics and is also not very interested in it. On 1st March a small group of armed civilians killed a Serbian wedding guest and wounded a priest. The following the whole city was full of barricades and they joined a peace procession. In the evening 3000 Chetniks (Serbian Nationalists) come to attack Sarajevo. On 4th March the barricades are removed. The "kids" (a popular term for politicians) had come to some agreement. On 24th March the blue helmets arrive in Sarajevo and they give hope to the people. Zlata calls her diary Mimmy, and it gives her support throughout the war. Lot's of people are leaving and families are separating because they are all afraid of the war. On 5th April there's gunfire coming from the hills, the war begins. Zlata and her family are hiding in the cellar while the town is badly shelled. Their president is kidnapped and the situation is getting worse. They spend nights and days in fear at the Bobars and Nedo's (neighbors) cellar. Zlata is convinced that Serbs, Croats, Muslims (like her) all look and are the same.
