Zac Efron had a normal childhood until he was about 11 and then he started getting into singing and acting. Zac Efron grew up in Arroyo Grande, California. He had a happy childhood and was good in school. According to Zac Efron in the book Biography today” I grew up in California completely ignorant of the entertainment industry, I grew up as a regular guy with a regular life.I went to school and got good grades, I had the most normal life.” He liked and was good at sports but enjoyed acting and singing more. He could listen to a song, memorize it and sing it perfectly. His first step in music was playing the piano, his teacher to join a drama club and he didn’t want to until his parents and teacher pushed him to try it out. His first part was in the play “Gypsy”, he enjoyed it a lot. His first TV appearance was in the show “Firefly”, 2002.
