    * Physical activity: this is essential to children of all ages, because this helps to strengthen many parts of the body, especially the heart, lungs, bones, and muscles. This also links the need for stimulation. Many children might not get the opportunity to run about at home so at my work setting we give the children allotted time everyday (about 45min daily) and take them to our outside area where they can run and play and get all the physical activity that they need. However, if it is raining outside we have a special area inside where they can still run about and have plenty of physical activity. We also promote this through planned activities in class to strengthen their bodies.…

I am here to explain and demonstrate why I think that kids should join the youth sport leagues. Kids or any other aged person will use their knowledge on sports in the future, like leadership on leading the sports team. Not just that but sports will have a change on the kid or any aged person on dealing with problems like, a team having the upper hand because of their strength, age or experience which cases the team to strategize a plan, so not just the body gets exercise but the brain too. Each kid should do sports or in this case join the youth sports league, though I do not just advise this for the kids but for any other person with a different age, but even though this is just for the young kids there are still other places you can…

At a young age, parents need to teach kids that there is more to life than just sitting around watching television or being on their electronics every day. Parents could introduce their children to different sports until the child finds one that he or she is interested in. For example my mother’s boss is teaching her daughter healthy eating habits. She comes home to make lunch so she can make sure that she is eating healthy. She always tells me that when you have well eating habits nothing can stop you from being healthy…

I have been to many basketball camps since I have entered high school. After a couple of years they become routine for players. I got my first opportunity this summer to go to a football camp at CHadron University which I figured couldn’t be too much different than a basketball camp. I figured you played a few games, went to bed, woke up sore and repeat the process like in basketball. I found out that there are actually a lot of differences between basketball and football camps then people would think.…

Being a student athlete should be a privilege, a reward; it should always come second, after the students education. It seems that student athletes get special treatments, getting away with having low grades, having an extended time to do assignments, or even being excused from them. There needs to be a more strict policy in order to be on a high school sports team and to play in games. After all, high schools do not require students to participate in team or individual sports.…

Firstly, kids should play competitive sports because they learn essential life lessons. For example, autor Kristin Chessman quotes Jim Taylor, Ph.D and sports psychology author. "Kids learn essential life skills, such as hard work, patience, persistence, and how to respond positively to setbacks and failure," (Chessman). This way, kids who never give up on their dream will try harder to become successful. In addition, children learn how to work with different people with different personalities and strengths (Chessman). This is important because…
