A chilling 9-1-1 call was made on the morning of September 8th by a terrified mum in Georgia when her two sons tried to kill her and her husband.
Yvonne Ervin and her husband, Zachary Ervin, had both been drugged with Xanax by their two sons, Cameron, who is 17, and Christopher, who is 22.
"That's why we were so sleepy. We didn't understand why we were so sleepy, but that's why," she said.
Yvonne had managed to make it to the phone thanks to Zachary. Zachary was able to escape from the two sons to their car, where he blew the horn, hoping to get his neighbour's attention, despite his groggy state. The two also plotted to burn the house down, and “introduced natural gas into the house,” Officer Long said.
Christopher and Cameron Ervin have been charged with ‘two counts of felony aggravated assault and two felony counts of first degree arson,’ according to Long. Since Georgia state law says that 17 year olds are considered adults in criminal cases, Cameron will be tried as an adult rather than just Christopher.
Both Christopher and Cameron are expected to appear in court sometime next week.

I think the reason this story is so incredibly important is because of how horrible it is.
It’s true: what kind of sons try to kill their own parents? The story scares me, and it scared my mum and it scared my dad and it scared my brothers how absolutely horrid this story is, how two children could band against their parents, their biological parents, the parents that raised them up from a tiny, little, helpless human being to the things they are now do such a terrible thing?
This story is important to me because it shows the importance of trust, and how it disappeared from that home in small-town Georgia as soon as that gun was
