Xavi Hernandez Creus

Great players rise up from the bottom having nothing except for a dream that circles around their mind since they’re little kids. That dream is to one day become a professional soccer player & play for the team that they love and cherish every time they see them play in the television or in person if they have the opportunity to see them in person. Those illusions or dreams of becoming a professional soccer player came true for one of the most stupendous players I’ve seen in this decade. By the name of Xavier Hernandez Creus (born 25 Jan. 25, 1980, Terrassa, Spain). . . [SR1] or Xavi, he has been one of the greatest players in the past decade and a major key player in his team by being consistent, a leader and a champion.

Xavi first arrives to FC Barcelona joining their youth squad when his only 11 years old, a professional team near his hometown of Terrassa, Spain. . . [SR4] The progress he made was very quick and in the season 1997-1998 he moved up from youth team to Barca B. . .[SR4] Before making his debut with the team in 1998 he had to advance through the club’s various junior ranks to make his appearance in the fields professionally. . .[SR2]

His game time in the field is outstanding. Xavi had a breakthrough during the season 1999-2000 being a big opportunity for him. Since the captain (Guardiola) had suffered a severe injury, Xavi was the first choice to take that empty place the captain had left opened in the midfield. . .[SR4] “After the legendary captain left to the Italian Football, Xavi became the playmaker of the team and has continued to demonstrate full range of his talents in this position”. . .[SR4] “While he was under the control of Van Gaal, Rexach, Antic, Rijkaard and Guardiola, Xavi has always been a key member of the team”. . .[SR4] Even though he was an important player for Barcelona’s team to win, he eventually got injured on the

Lopez was a Portuguese Jew who converted to Christianity and lived in England. He served as the Queen’s physician, and was accused of conspiring with Spanish civilians to murder the queen. He claimed that he was innocent and only cooperated with the Spanish in order to reveal their dangerous intentions. Lopez was found guilty nonetheless, and was executed. Kaplan brings original documents from the time of the execution, and claims that they prove that Lopez was convicted because he was Jewish. In contrast, Jose Gonzalez in my opinion probably operated from a place of personal power through arrogance because he knew he has tenure with the college. I understood his need for the additional help the graduate assistants provided him grading of the papers. However, if everyone was using the graduate assistants in the same manner then maybe there would be no need to change. However, because there was no policy it leaves the college vulnerable to legal actions due to possible misunderstandings. In addition, I felt Jose exhibited coercive power when he sent out the memo in an attempt to be undertone in alerting the college of his disapproval of the policy and possible threat to appeal if required. In my opinion, if Jose has tenure then he may have the respect of Helen’s superior’s which would make Jose her unofficial boss. I know it isn’t fair, but life isn’t always fair. You know it is always that one person in the office that you can’t seem to get around so you learn to adapt and still get the job done. We do not know enough from the study to be certain, but if Jose the dean and vice president are more than friendly his sending out the memo was his…

For this case study, I decided to observe my boyfriends’ six-year-old brother named Yair Ramirez. He has a light skin tone and brown thin and choppy hair. His eyes are brown, and he recently lost four teeth. Yair lives in a two-story town home with two bedrooms along with his two siblings and both parents, Blanca Singu and Carlos Ramirez. His mother described their home as “simple but fun. He has a lot of toys to entertain himself with.” At school, his mother says it is very interactive and he learns a lot from the activities held. The reason I chose to write my case study based on Yair is because I see him about once a week, and I have a close relationship with the family overall.…

When I was six years old I saw my first soccer match on TV. It was the last match of the qualifying round between Mexico and Uruguay in 1990. After seeing that game I knew I wanted to play soccer, and that my dream is to play for the national team of Mexico. Couple of years later I was playing pee wee soccer. That year we won the championship. I continued to play for a couple more years where I polished my skills as peewees, which lead us to a couple more championships.…
