College graduates earn more, and are more likely to have a job in the first place and is especially important for some americans. When a student graduates from high school only 65% of them go to college which they will have a better, and more successful life after college. Referred from the article saying that in “2010 the median weekly earnings for someone with some college but no degree were $712, compared to $1038 for a college graduate” this means that when they graduate college and find a job they will earn more money because of what classes they took. Also college is a way to create and lead them to different roads in life. “college as the primary goal of our education system in favor of multiple pathways for students.” College gives students opportunities to have a successful life and good jobs which all lead to happiness.

Many famous people got jobs that didn’t need a college degree or some of them dropped out. A few people that dropped out of college is Steve Jobs (founder of apple), Michael Dell (founder of Dell) both left college at the age of 19. Bill Gates (founder of Microsoft), Mark Zuckerberg (founder of facebook) both left college at the age of 20. Each and every one of them all dropped out of college but had a very successful life in their companies they made.
