Three different World Cup official match balls

General Purpose: To inform
Specific Purpose: To inform my Speech 1315 class about three different World Cup official match balls.
Organizational Pattern: Topical

I. INTRODUCTION A. Attention Getter: Imagine sweaty people on the ground. There are many audiences. The players are focus on little ball. They are passionate. They are eager for win. Which sports can you imagine? I am thinking a soccer. B. Relevance to Audience: Do you know U.S. trying to be host of the 2026 World cup? Nice stadium, convenient facilities and supplements are important for successful hosting. However, the match ball is one of the most important things because the match ball that developed every World Cup is connecting to score directly. High score result in a match means the match was more exited game. I hope you will be interest in soccer and enjoy when U.S. host 2026 World Cup. C. Credibility Statement: I used to wait for new match ball coming out before start the World Cup when I was young. I love learn about soccer. After a week of research, I have gathered specific information about 11 World cup official balls from 1970 to 2010. D. Thesis: So, today I will talk about three different World Cup official match balls. E. Preview: To do so, I will first talk about the Telstar, then the Tricolore and the +Teamgeist.

TRANSITION: Let us start with the Telstar.

II. BODY F. Telstar 1. The Telstar was first official match ball which launched at the 1970 World Cup in Mexico. a. Before use official match ball, Uruguay and Argentina argued at final round because both team want to use a ball that made by their country. That was happened sometime at early World Cup. b. FIFA first commissioned adidas to provide the official Match Ball. Adidas only one company which made
