Advantages of being a stay at home mother/housewife
• More time for domestic duties

Disadvantages of being stay at home mother/housewife

*Having to ask the bread winner for money to buy things

* Less opportunities for making friends
*Being stigmatised as a brainless stay at home mother
* Risk being undervalued by partner and friends etc

The advantages of working women generally revolve around personal opportunities, both to develop in one's career and provide additional financial resources, while the cons generally have to do with missed memories and fatigue. No matter whether one chooses to stay at home with one's children or work outside the home, there are definite trade-offs to consider.
Mothers who leave home each day and head to work have the possibility of conversations with adults throughout the day beside their husbands. This gives them a higher degree of intellectual stimulation. They also tend to dress a little better, putting on a professional outfit instead of donning workout clothes or jeans to face the day

    Women are fortunate enough to gain back their knowledge from their previous job, by joining the workforce and contributing financially for their family. Motherhood is not a paid job; there are no raises or benefits. By working, mothers receive a different kind of fulfillment, they get praised and paid. Typically, mothers who work full time feel guilty that they are missing out on raising their child. However, working part time can save women from that stress.     A woman in today’s society has many roles. She is a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a cook, a caretaker, and much more. Within the past century, however, her role has been altered and added to. She is now, also, a worker. Some women are even the main source of income in their households. To those of us who have been raised in late 20th century, this occurrence doesn’t seem unusual. Most of our mothers have had jobs. We have seen or heard of many successful businesswomen, but women have not always been treated as equals in the workforce. In the early 1900s, women were mainly responsible for maintaining their household. If they worked, it was normally on their own farm or in factories at a lower wage than men, but not in a formal career. When World War II began, more women were allowed into the workforce, but were fired when it ended.
