Women's Role Of Women In My Country
She has just turned 18, but you will not see her celebrating with her friends in her most memorable day in a restaurant, beach or a nice venue. She is a mother of two, who is struggling to put food on her children's table this day. She was a good student at school, but she was poor and never achieved her dream of pursuing the education she always fancied to like her friends did. She wanted to find her prince one day and travel with him in the large fields of Andalusia, but her parents decided for her marriage at a very young age and crushed her dreams with a vicious hammer. I do not remember a single name of a woman politician in my country having had a big impact in the politic stream of Albania. Even the women organizations in this country protecting our rights are represented by women they are not well-known to the public and the difference they make is little. What we truly need is women leaders that can really represent our values, our prospective, and our own dreams. She should encourage the women everywhere to be leaders in education, health, politics and show to all the men in the country that we are not inferior to them. It happens, because we have not established a solid role in our society, a thing I will always say. The decision of a woman to fall in love or get married in this country is a tiny part of the whole iceberg of problems that women in my country are exposed to. Most of the girls have no choice and subsequently they marry since they are poor and their families cannot afford to educate them or allow them to find another solution for their futures. I know that poverty sounds very simple as an answer to the problem but it is undoubtedly the origin of the problem including the factor that our society is very masculine, chokes out all our voice about this matter, and leaves us vulnerable to all the ugly examples of the girls suffering at a young age. Then to become worst, the women leaders of my country are silent when they should raise their voice
