Cheryl had to deal with incredibly personal letters coming from real people, so It would be impossible to just forget about their problems are revisit them only for the eight hours a day that she worked. Cheryl probably thought about the letters she wanted to responded to all the time because she wanted to give them the best advice to help them with their problem. She probably even shared them with Mr. Sugar because no matter how wise she was, it is impossible for her to have all the answers for all of her letters.…

In 1867 most of the male population in Britain received the vote most historians agree that the beginning of the suffrage campaign was in 1832 when a woman asked a campaigner, while campaigning for the wider male, vote to include women. It was not until 1903 when Mrs Emmeline Pankhurst founded the Woman's Social and Political Union (WSPU). She founded this group having been a member of the Suffragists. She became frustrated with the Suffragists' tactics, especially their middle class and gradualist ideas. What intrigues me the most is women would try to over power men and get a death sentence for what the believed in. These women who spoke up changed us as women today; we have more rights and power. “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that al men and women are created equally.” (Civil Rights in America) Women’s Rights began in the 19th century when women reformers demanded the right to vote and the same legal rights as men; women would stand up and fight for…

In this country, many feel as though health care is a right of the citizens. I myself struggle with this idea as I do believe we need to address the health care needs of our country but do not feel responsible for those that make poor health care decisions on a daily basis and look for us as a country to care for them. With that same thought, I feel a responsibility to help those that are truly trying and are not offered health care benefits through their employers, and cannot afford to purchase health care insurance, as well as the underinsured. We have to take a stance of what is best for the whole.…

Is it true that Goffman’s theory, about body language, defines a person’s gender? “Body language comes in clusters of signals and postures, depending on the internal emotions and mental states. Recognizing a whole cluster is thus far more reliable than trying to interpret individual elements” (Using Body Language).
