Once upon a time …the magical words that always start a fairytale. I’m not here to tell you a once-upon-a-time tale; instead I’m going to tell you a story of 2 16 year old girls. Emma and Isabelle.
But clearly defines them is their character and outlook to the world. Isabelle is a girl from a well off family and way more mature than emma . But our story here starts not with the kind-hearted Isabelle but with our most acclaimed yet vicarious character the celebrated Miss Emma. a rich spoilt kid and the daughter of an oil tycoon – she literally swims in money .
(Cell phone rings)

In the United States and in countries all over the world, poverty takes extreme deficits to the country's population. Throughout my life I have began to notice these deficits take toll on my community of Payette. I chose this topic because growing up in a small community you really get to see the best and worst of everyone. This includes those who may not have as much money as you. When you are younger it isn’t something you notice much of the bad that is happening but as you grow up you see if through your friends and their family members. As I grew up that was what I saw, I saw the effects of poverty really start to hit them harder than I had ever noticed before. I also based my senior project off the fact that those in this community suffer so…

There’s a pause and every eye, that holds what feels like a laser beam, penetrates my entire being. Imagining throwing my freshly bought food into this rank garbage can, makes every part of me twist; I’d rather throw my coffee into this teacher’s face, but holding myself back from what is so tempting, I bite my lip, shed a tear and unwilling force myself to submit to this irritating and unnecessary suggestion. Waste of money, waste of time. Teacher’s like this have a cold-stone heart, if any heart at all and need to find a new time and place to take out their personal life on something else.…

“Miles come eat your food before it gets cold!” Alyssa Baker yelled from the kitchen waking me from my dream. I groggily get up from my bed and headed towards the bathroom. The shower was on and I assumed the witch was using it. I reached for the knob and realized that it was locked, I knocked on the door. “Olivia I need to use the bathroom” I mumbled and got no answer. “Olivia!” I shouted. Not sure if she could hear through the shower, I made one last attempt at kicking the door; still nothing. Sometimes I liked her but also hated her. I stumbled to the kitchen still a little tired. “Please don’t wake me up unless the bathroom is free.” I told her. She turned around and glared at me. “Well maybe if you didn’t sleep until 3 in the afternoon the bathroom would be open for you” She remarked. “Well we can’t all be as perfect as you Alyssa Baker” I retorted. She stopped with the dishes and sighed. “You can call me mom whenever you’d like Miles.” She replied with a snort. “Whenever I like” I muttered. One of the few things I do enjoy about Alyssa Baker is her amazing food. I decided to grab a glass of milk then I took a bite out of today’s breakfast. Of course the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted. “I’m going to stay the night at Andrew’s house.” I told her. “Do you want me to make you something to eat?” She asked. I thought about the question for a second. “Sure.” I mumbled. I finished my breakfast and went to see if Olivia was done with the bathroom. From her now closed door I could tell she was out; time to start the day.…
