Eyewitness testimonies are considered unreliable and were neglected for helping gather evidence in Steven Truscotts case. There are two witnesses that provided evidence that indicates that a car could have been present where Lynn Harper was rapped. George Edens found Lynn Haper's body and said you could see car skid marks. Bob Lawson said he saw a car parked near spot but he had never seen a car there before. This all corresponds with Steven Truscotts statement that he left Lynn Harper near highway 8 and saw her get into a car. Jocelyne Godette who was 13 provide the police with evidence that did not match up. She testified that she went to the bush looking for Steven that evening because they had a date. But previously she had said she went looking for Lynn. She also asked a local farmer to change his stament to match up with hers. People believed Jocelyne even though her evidence was false and made Steven look responsible . Gordon Logan who was 12, told police he looked up from fishing and saw Steven and Lynn ride across the bridge. Then, shortly afterwards he saw…

    i. Educational requirements for computer forensic investigators are not consistent across the industry as of 2011. This is because the field is still relatively new. Although each employer has different needs, at the minimum you should have a degree or certificate in computer science or forensic investigation, preferably in cybercrime or computer security. For an entry-level position, you'll need at least an associate's degree plus an internship. Employers often look for applicants who have a bachelor's degree or higher.…

On Monday, September 25, 2017, both Jeremy and I performed observation and tests at Sheltair. Showed our badges to the attendant at the front desk and gained access to the ramp area. Once we got onto the ramp we then began testing to observe if any of the employees who did not see our badges before gaining access would challenge us for the proper credential. Almost immediately, Jose Perez approached us for our badge and explained why he had done so. I snapped a photo of his credential to document how aware this employee is about challenging anyone on the ramp.…

Beyond the archetypal exposé of the Amish culture by all, it seems that the Oscar-winning ‘Witness’ by Peter Weir has expunged the typical intuition of the Amish culture. In a nutshell, 1985 film ‘Witness’ focuses on a detective protecting a young Amish boy [Samuel] who becomes the target of a ruthless killer after he witnesses a brutal murder in a Philadelphia train station. The Amish trace their religious heritage to the Swiss Anabaptist of sixteenth-century Europe, who emerged in the wake of the Protestant Reformation. The first ample group of Amish arrived in America around 1730 and settled near Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Amish are not the prevalent group of U.S. Amish as is generally thought, however. The Amish have settled in as many as twenty-four states, Canada, and Central America, though statistics suggest that about 80% are located in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. The Amish traditionally speak German and, symbolic of their faith, Amish clothing styles encourage humility and separation from the world. They dress in a very simple style, avoiding all but the most basic ornamentation. Clothing is made at home of plain fabrics and is primarily dark –usually black- in color, as is depicted in the following picture.…

Landscape with Tree by George Smith is an example of American realist painting of the 20th century. The realist style has origins that trace back to the 19th-century French artist Gustave Courbet. Smith is one of the few American artists still engaged in the realist manifesto, which rejects abstraction as a corrupt, elitist form of art. Landscape is an asymmetrical composition. The work achieves a sense of balance through counterbalancing the tree and moon on either side of the picture plane. Although composed in stark black-and-white, Smith’s work achieves an expressive force created by the use of a dynamic, fluid line. The tree in art is often associated with life, renewal, and growth (Grove Art Online, 2007). Smith establishes a contrast between the tree’s symbolism and the quarter moon.…

It’s not a secret that there is still injustice and racism amongst the African American community. Too often I hear and read these type of stories about us protecting ourselves or our loved in return going to jail for it. And a lot of time these type of stories always seems to only consist of us. I wish the system wasn’t rigged, but it is. It is like we have a right to be free, but so many of us get lectured, when we exercise our freedom. The stand your ground laws, hardly if ever have been demonstrated to apply to us, just against us. An Aurora woman facing felony firearm charges for firing warning shots at the gunman who killed her fiancé and father of her two children. In the Chicago tribes 26-year-old Ashley Harrison is getting convicted…
