ABSTRACT

Notice Board is primary thing in any institution / organization or public utility places like bus stations, railway stations and parks. But sticking various notices day-to-day is a difficult process. A separate person is required to take care of this notices display. This project deals about an advanced hi-tech wireless notice board. Zigbee is a PAN technology based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Unlike bluetooth or wireless USB devices, ZigBee devices have the ability to form a mesh network between nodes. Meshing is a type of daisy chaining from one device to another. This technique allows the short range of an individual node to be expanded and multiplied, covering a much larger area. The project is built around the AT89C51 micro controller from Atmel. This micro controller provides all the functionality of the display and wireless control. It also takes care of creating different display effects for given text. Alphanumerical keypad is interfaced to the transmitter to type the data and transmit. The message can be transmitted to multi point receivers. After entering the text, the user can disconnect the keyboard. At any time the user can add or remove or alter the text according to his requirement. This project uses regulated 5V, 1A power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.

As the program starts, string ‘Enter Password’ is displayed on LCD. The keypad is scanned for pressed digits one by one. Every time, row and column of the key pressed is detected and a ‘*’ is displayed on LCD corresponding to the entered number. After the four digits are entered, the user is prompted to ‘Confirm Password’ and again the input is taken through LCD. If the passwords do not match, a message is displayed to indicate ‘Wrong Password’; otherwise the user is prompted to unlock the device.…

A laser projection keyboard was invented and patented by IBM engineer in 1992. It optically detects and analyses human hand and finger motions and interprets them as operations on physically non-existent input device like a surface with painted or project keys. The inventors created this gadget which inspired from the light of laser and they make everything easier by using a little space for placing it on the table. A sensor or camera in the projector pick up fingers movements software converts the coordinates to identify actions or characters. A prominent features is the laser keyboard's size is very small,so you can take it to go to everywhere. Using this gadget is also easy just clear a little space to place it on your table and then you can enjoy working or everything that you want to do with your IPhone and IPad. Moreover this laser projection keyboard is lightweight and easy for taking out.…

The 120-volt rms 60 Hz input was used to represent a wall socket. To reduce the voltage from 120-volts to 12-volts a 10 to 1 step-down transformer was placed in the circuit. An FWB bridge was implemented to convert the AC signal to a DC signal. A voltage regulator was added to stabilize the output. Capacitors were also added to aid in the stabilization of the output signal. The capacitor values as well as the value of the load resistor were manipulated achieve the ideal output.…

monitoring, and health care [34]. In ZigBee, IEEE 802.15.4 is utilized as the communication protocol for the medium access control (MAC) layer and physical (PHY) layer [2], and supports low data-rate (i.e., 20kbps, 40kbps, and 250kbps). Such low transmission rate and low-cost characteristics make ZigBee suitable for wireless systems comprising unsupervised groups of devices in houses, factories and offices. To facilitate ZigBee network deployment, most devices are unplugged, and rather operated by batteries. Additionally, the target environments in…
