Why I Want to Attend Villanova
I decided to further my education by attending a four year college or university. What better way to do this then by attending Villanova University. My career goal is to become a registered nurse and Villanova is the place for me.
I would love to be part of the Villanova community. Villanova is a private institution that provides their students with the support and attention they need. Villanova has an excellent and well known nursing program. Another reason why I would like to be part of the Villanova community is because of the location of the campus. Villanova is located twenty minutes outside of Philadelphia, so I would have easy access to all of Philadelphia's restaurants, malls, and so on. All of my relatives live in Philadelphia so it would be good to stay close to them. Villanova has a beautiful campus. The dorms are up to date and the food is good.
I have chosen nursing as my academic major for one main reason. That reason is because I want to make a difference in a person's life. Helping a person while they are sick or ill will give them the comfort of knowing that someone cares about them. Nursing is an excellent way for me to make a difference. Today, there is a shortage of nurses in the medical field. Nurses are always needed, so I know when I become a registered nurse, I will have plenty of work.
Being accepted into Villanova University will be an honor. I look forward to being part of the Villanova community and experiencing all the good things that the university has to

I am able to connect my experience to the experience the Nolan’s and my dad went through when it was their time to achieve their dreams. I find it to be very lucky to go to school in New York because I am already one step ahead of my game to fulfill my target since New York is the place where there are many opportunities for everyone. Ave Maria University is known as a prestigious institution of learning. Each and every young adult has the right to learn. This brings me back to the times when I was given the opportunity and pleasure to mentor grade school students in the sport of baseball. I took this opportunity to not only teach them the fundamentals of the sport, but I was also blessed with learning compassion and patience from these young enthusiastic learners. This opened a door for me to go on to mentoring underprivileged students at the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. This touched me so much that it would be an honor while attending Ave Maria University, to get involved in mentoring and volunteer work on campus and within the community. My academic career choice is aimed at giving back. It would be a privilege to study here, especially for students like myself, whose careers may take them anywhere. A degree with your institution is sure to open doors and opportunities for me, regardless of where I am.…

Being an active member of a community is critical to creating a good learning atmosphere. The word community is sometimes overused and does not get the emphasis it desires. People want to feel apart of something and creating a functioning system is necessary for success. I have always had a love for working with a team and as a leader, I try to help others achieve their goals. If I attended Villanova, I would make the noun community become a verb by helping others, accepting others, and leading others.…

I chose nursing as my profession because of my mother and other factors. My mother was an influence because early this year she was in the hospital for two weeks and during that period I only saw the doctor thrice. The nurses where the ones doing everything, so I felt they were the ones who nursed her back to health. The other deciding factors were: variety of places for jobs whether in the public, private, or community setting; the opportunity to learn new things since no day is ever the same; the opportunity to work with other health professionals; nurses will always be needed; nursing offers specialty areas, and the opportunity to be a traveling nursing.…

A degree in Nursing could help me follow the path that I have wanted to obtain, for myself and for my family. As a first generation, there are high expectations for me to achieve and continue my studies to provide my sisters with a role model. Picking a college to attend was a pretty big deal to my parents than it was for me, for instance, they wanted me to attend a school that would provide me with a lot of financial aid, a school where it is small enough that I do not blend in, and a school that is known for their Nursing program. With that it lead me to this university, knowing that a small institute would provide me with a better outlook rather than a larger university. My experience so far has been a roller coaster, mostly downs. It was a big transition, going from high school where everything is given to you and you follow the material, to a setting where you have to set yourself and prioritize on what is important and disciplining yourself. The material is quite different as well, in high school, we went over the general and basics of a material while in college we review the basics but go even further into the…
