According to Scholastic.com, in 2009 a 15 year-old-boy soaked a basketball in gasoline and decided he was going to shoot a three pointer with it. Well he ended up lighting his clothes on fire and getting second and third-degree burns. He did survive though, but he will have the fire scars for the rest of his life. This shows that many kids are willing to risk their lives by doing some dangerous and stupid stunt for the sake of a thirty second video. Therefore, Youtube should ban stunt videos on it’s website or at least put age sensors on there videos because many kids are injuring themselves and they can be affected by their choices for the rest of their lives. Kids are injuring or killing themselves or others just to catch a good stunt/daredevil move on camera. More than 180,000 people (Americans) die from accidental injuries each year. These people want to be just like the daredevils they see at the circus, they don’t know how, they just go for it. In addition to those 180,000 Americans who die every year from accidental injuries, many of them are kids. To make sure more people don’t get hurt from creating stunt videos to post on social media websites, Youtube should start banning the stunt videos. There are 180,000 people dying every year from accidental injuries or stunts. That number still continues to rise each year. If everyone stopped posting the stunt videos to Youtube, then we could stop the deaths and dangers being caused by the videos.
