Why Would Every Woman Reject Feminism?
There are many concepts in life that I am not equipped with the capacity to understand; theoretical physics, animal abuse, why America still utilizes the Electoral College, and certain fashion trends, but the most important concept that I cannot fully comprehend is why any woman would reject equality. Why would anyone prefer to be regarded as an inferior on the basis of an uncontrollable biological factor? Why would anyone desire to be confined to archaic and detrimental societal norms? Why would anyone welcome the misogynistic repercussions that occur to women who live in a time of inequality? Why would any woman reject feminism?

I disagree with the reasoning of these women, but can understand at least their fundamental qualms with feminism. However, the author of this quote does not just renounce feminism, but equality too. No matter how intensely I ponder this quote, I cannot in any way comprehend or empathize with her objections towards equality. Even the rationale she offers as an explanation I find to be disconcerting. My interpretation of chivalry is merely men being polite and respectful towards women by the execution of small, yet meaningful acts of kindness. Chivalry is not just ways upon which males can express their devotion towards the women in their life, but rather are deeds that every human, regardless of gender, should include in their everyday routine.
