Why Stealing Is Wrong
Stealing is wrong, but as a child I did not think that for a long time. When I was young I loved sugar very much. Every time I went to the store with my mom I expected to get something sweet, and if I didn’t get it I would be upset. One day I wanted candy, but I thought my mom would say no, so I took the candy. My mom didn’t know I had stolen the candy when I ate it because I told her I had found it in the car. The next day I stole a large candy bar, but this time my mom caught me. She put the candy bar back and drove me to the police station without saying a word. She brought me in, and by that point I was crying from fear. Although she took me to the police station she didn’t turn me in, but she did something better. That day she taught me

His acts were neither right nor good. Normally morals are taught to you by your parents or who ever is raising you. In this case we I can see where his morals may have been a tad bit screwed up because of the things his parents had done. While he was growing up his parents were caught up into some rather immoral things so maybe he figured it would be alright for him to do the same things, but take it too the next level. Even if his parents did corrupt his morals he had to have a lesson in school on not stealing from others. I remember that from elementary school. Therefore a light bulb should have gone off in his head and his heart when he began to steal all of that money. His parents should have taught him that taking what does not belong to him is called stealing and it is neither right nor good. He should have known that he would not get away with stealing forever and that one day it would catch up with him. He should have stopped a long time ago and then maybe he could have held onto some of his dignity. It still wouldn’t be right if he did stop a long time ago, but then he wouldn’t have stolen so much money from so many people. Either way it goes what he did was definitely immoral and I don’t think that there is anybody out there that would…

The act of theft is predominantly considered worldwide to be one of the most corrupt acts one can commit, it is even written in the Bible as the eighth commandment that one “shall not steal”. So it is particularly interesting when the act of theft is not used in a narrative not to show how iniquitous the villain is but rather to make a point about the protagonist of the story. Such is the case for Markus Zusak’s The Book Thief. In the book thief Zusak uses the motif of thievery to as an act of empowerment for Liesel. It is representative of how Lisel is trying to take control back of her life in a time where she feels she has lost all control of the world around her. The act of stealing books is also significant as this can represent her taking knowledge back from her oppressors who wish to destroy it. The act of stealing is never in the novel portrayed as a crime of any sort, rather the act of theft flourishes into an act of liberation for Liesel.…

When she took the bait she had gotten caught because a few days later they said that she was using counterfeit bills to buy her things. So the cops brought her to the station to question her. She said that she hadn’t known they were counterfeit and said she had gotten the money from me. That's when the plan backfired. The brought me in for questioning and I said that I hadn’t know they were counterfeits and that I just found them in the grass one day. The questioning had ended there but not for my parents. They ground into my sister for taking the money from me and then started grinding into me to figure out where I had gotten the money. I told them that I got it from a friend so I could use it as a way to get Meradith, my sister, to stop stealing money from me and from them. They said it was stupid of me to do that because she could have been arrested and kept in prison for a long time and they didn't want that to happen I told them I had done it for the greater good and they just scoffed and scowled at me. From that moment forward I haven't talked to my family or anybody since then because I didn't want to be punished for trying to do the right thing. I haven't spoken to anybody about it, not even Mr. Meany. I’m glad…

What would I do if I found one hundred dollars on the street would I keep it or return it to an adult or a nearby store, restraunt, etc.? I would return to an adult. Why? First, I would not keep it because thats not right because it's not my money and www.thesimpledollar.com states "A twelve year old saved up some money to buy a game console but first he had to go to the doctors office when he got back in his car he realized that all his money was gone." Secondly, I believe that taking money that you just found is steeling because in the first place it's not yours and even if you put it in your pocket you basically stole it even though you didn't spend it on anything. Lastly, I believe if you found a dollar you should return it t the…

Today shoplifting is one of the most common forms of theft in the United States. Shoplifting is now the number one cause for smaller stores to fail in today's market. The small stores are also the ones the usually carry the smaller items which are the easiest to receive the "five fingered discount" on. The reason shoplifting has become so big is because the thieves some how justify their actions and they also don't consider themselves thieves. The most common shoplifters are children and the senior citizens. It is the housewives and the college students that some how justify their stealing and don't consider themselves thieves.…

Plagiarism comes from a Latin word meaning “kidnap”. Many people have given different meanings to the term plagiarism. Plagiarism is the worst form of fraud a student can be involved in. All students are advised to avoid this at all times. Plagiarism is caused by unfamiliarity with what they are supposed to be writing about or what they are learning about students are advised to familiarize themselves with the topics they are supposed to write about in advance. In my case I did not copy but I let people copy my paper and I did not make the right decision because not only did I cheat them out of their education but I put myself in a situation where I could get in trouble.…
