Should Kids Have Homework?
I've been in school for 10 years now and I get hammered with homework almost everyday. I know for a fact i'm not the only kid/teenager that feels like it takes away from a fun healthy childhood. When i get home I want go out to the lake and fish or ride a atv around with my friends not sit in my boring house doing homework! And we wonder why America is lazy these days. Teachers must get entertained watching us slave over work day and night. I'm about to end this with my claims and put an end to unnecessary work.
Today kids are overweight and obese because they never do anything but sit inside.One in three kids in America are obese! I blame this completely on our schools! They give us so much homework we don't have enough time to go outside and ride a bike or go to the courts and play some ball with friends. And guess what has gone up in the past years. Any guesses? Grade Point Averages yes kids gpa’s have gone up.That in itself shows that it's more likely for kids now days to do homework rather than getting their needed exercise. …show more content…
We get gosh darn homework to do for another at least an hour when we arrive home.Teachers always wonder why kids are missing assignments. Hey teachers wanna know why because we get so burnt out we figure we would rather go out and do something rather than sitting in the house studying and working so we don't fail a class.Think about it should homework really even count as a grade? I think not, maybe extra credit if that! Should homework really determine if we fail or not? I think if a student works hard enough in class and completes his or hers assignment correctly that should be enough.And if that kid doesn't do that assignment then it should be homework any other way to me in
