Drugs are common in our world today and seem to cause problems in some cases. For example, a teenager in high school discovers the use of drugs. The teenager starts doing drugs and starts caring less and less about his or her school work or extracurricular activities. This concept of doing drugs applies to anyone though, not just teenagers. Therefore, partaking in doing drugs makes many people forget about their responsibilities in life. More importantly, these people should keep trying in their everyday fight and not take the easy way out of it. They must battle these temptations of doing drugs, because it will take them away from what is actually important in…

There are many reasons why drugs get abused: For instance Peer Pressure, I feel it’s the leading cause. Some people will do anything to fit in with certain crowds and people that they will turn to drugs if “everyone” else is doing it. Another reason is to escape, or to forget about their problems, worries, and stress. Some drugs offer a tranquilizing effect that can make a person happy or calmer. Also, learned behavior is a big reason, if a child is growing up in an environment where drugs are all around and easy to access they may become interested in trying it and become hooked. A fourth reason is pleasure, some drugs offer a euphoric feeling that seldom feels. Once that feeling is experienced it can be wanted more often and a continuous thing. Why People Take Heroin

There is an infinite amount of reasons why people may take heroin or any other drug for that matter. From personal observations I have noticed that even though the reasons vary by individual there is still a main pattern. I believe most people take heroin because they like the feeling of being drugged. When they are in this state they don 't have to think about problems. In a way the drug is a diversion from their true feelings and an escape from their ordinary lives. Another reason people may fall into the heroin habit is to fit in or become part of a particular group. Often times the group doing the drug may seem cool or different. It is human nature to want to be accepted so people may feel peer pressure to try a drug like heroin not realizing how highly addictive and destructive the drug is. Finally the number one reason why I believe people take heroin is because they want to feel better about themselves. In a way this reason sums up all of the other reasons in one. If a person takes the drug to feel better about themselves, then they are seeking an escape, trying to feel more socially important and accepted, trying to overcome shyness, divert their attention away from their flaws or problems. I believe that this reason stems from low self-esteem, hopelessness, unhappiness and these are perhaps one of the main causes of addiction.…

The drug empire is growing is an article that New York Time pubished in may 11th 2012 and it says. People use drugs in societies around the world more than ever before. Why is it this way? Is it cheper to buy drugs today than 40 years ago? Or is it just easier to reach drugdealers who are selling drugs? I belive it is the last mentioned cause. That is why I also belive we must have stricter laws cocerning druguseing as well as drugdealing to make people stop use drugs. If you ask me I think drugs have caused enough suffering in our society. We should ban drugs from our streets, dont you think so? Because the next drug victim can be someone you know or wose, someone you love.…
