According to the writing of Roxanne Lynn Doty in the article “Why is people’s movement restricted?” individuals leave their home country and move to another country, regardless of proper documentation, for better opportunities, jobs, and hope. There have been many cases in which citizens leave their countries due to violence and poverty. Immigrants hope to find safety and new opportunities in these new places.
