Why Is Julius Caesar Weak
Julius Caesar was the first man to be noticed as the sole ruler of Rome. Cassius knew that Caesar was not as strong as he seemed. For Cassius had been there when Caesar had been at his weakest. Now Cassius thought of the time Caesar was sick while in Spain, crying like a little girl. There was also the time Caesar challenged Cassius to swim with him in the Tiber, and cried for help when drowning. Not to mention that Caesar was also deaf in his right ear. Caesar, Cassius knew was also self-delusional and very vain thinking himself all powerful. Cassius, remembering all of this, was filled with hate and became envious of the power Caesar now held. Even though Caesar was a weak man, he was elevated to the position of a god because of the people.
