Why Is George Washington A Good President
George Washington did very well during his term as president of the United States. He identified the problems within the government that needed to be taken care of, he understood his limitations and he didn't choose a certain political party to be a part of. Washington displayed his role of president very well when he created the Cabinet. He created the Cabinet because he realized that he couldn't do everything on his own and he needed the help of others to make decisions. He created a Cabinet that consisted of Jefferson, Hamilton, Knox, and Randolph. Whenever he needed to make a tough decision he would turn to them for help and that displayed how he knew his limitations. He knew that he needed to make a decision that would benefit the whole country and he couldn't choose what he thought. Creating the Cabinet displayed how …show more content…
The government decided they needed to create a judicial court because it would be a compromise between people who wanted federal courts to exercise the full jurisdiction allowed under the Constitution and those who opposed any lower federal courts. Washington was the final person to sign it and he signed it because it would further benefit the country, he saw the issue and fixed it. Lastley, Washington was a good president because he did not join a certain political party during his term. This shows he is a good president because he didn't favor one side of the country over another side. He did not like political partnership and he believed that political leaders should be able to debate ideas without being bonded to a political party.
