Why I Want To Be A Cosmetologist
Malcolm S. Forbes once said, “The biggest mistake people make in life is NOT making a living doing what they most enjoy.” Since I was a child, I always wondered what I would do when I grew up. Did I want to be a dentist, veterinarian, doctor, or cosmetologist? I had no idea, but this past year I strongly and whole-heartedly decided what I was going to do. My junior year I enrolled in a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course; I really had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I soon found out. The first day of class we learned about what we’d be doing, and in a way, this excited me. Taking care of people in the nursing home sounded gratifying. I knew that I’d be helping people on a daily basis, and that made me feel good about myself. The
