Why High School Should Start Later
Many great things are to come from high school classes beginning and ending later in the day would benefit teenagers in high school. By making this change a lot of teenagers would be doing better school work, not falling asleep in class, and being productive with school later in the evening. Being able to come to school, and not being tired plays a big part in there academic achievements. Coming to school and having the energy will help many young teens and young adults with there school work. May get their grades to were they need to be. Having the opportunity to come into school later in the day may decrease the number of students who fall asleep in the classroom. Being a participant in class is a grade, whether you do or don't it will still affect your grade. "If you participate in class, your grade will reflect the what you do in class," many teachers would say. Participation is a great way to stay focused in school, and not get distracted. Having a great place to be later in the evening and learning new things. Many teens don't have anything to do after school but to play video games, or maybe do things that are dangerous and illegal. Making this change would result in many things like: kids being productive, young teens staying off the streets, etc. Many parents would disagree with this decision and some may agree. Its pro's and con's with this change, but many may have to overlook those facts and look at the positive things that will result from a change being made. Benefiting high school teenagers isn't easy at all. Coming to there sense, some teens have decided to argue the position that high schools' should start and end later in the day. Many teens may have great results from the change but many may not like the idea. Speaking upon those who don't think highly of the decision their child may have younger siblings whom
