Why Gun Control Is Important
Everyone has either used or seen a gun. It's American to own a gun. In the United States constitution, it states that we have the right to bear arms. Everyone that has shot a gun knows that feeling of adrenaline they get when they shoot an animal or even a target. We need to have laws enforced to keep guns off of certain properties. Today parents should let their kids play with toy guns not just to entertain them, but to show the children gun safety, get the kids more involved with the outdoors, and to show kids what better things in life are instead of staring at a screen most of the day. On December 14, 2012 an intruder walked into Sandy Hook Elementary and took over 20 lives of students and teachers. If there was a Public Safety Officer at the school more than likely there wouldn't have been a big shooting. Gun owners should be able to carry concealed weapons in certain locations in order to deter potential acts of violence, provide immediate response before public safety is able to arrive, and because the 2nd amendment guarantees citizens the right to bear arms. Even if you don’t own a gun you should know how they work. If guns were a bad thing, then why do we have hunted in every state. Children enjoy the feeling they get when they shoot chair and pretend that it was a deer. The best way to do so is to give them fake guns to shoot. This will make them want to go out in the wild and hunt. The most important part is that this will show your children, the more important things in life. They will understand why we have the extra things in life and how we should enjoy what we have. If you educate children young then it is less likely they won't make bad decisions with a gun. Getting your children more involved in the outdoor is one of the best things you can do for them. People need to be careful where they take guns because we don't need them
