The word trust in the dictionary is defined as being “a) firm belief in the honesty, reliability, etc. of another; faith” I agree 100%; however, in my experience, it can be quite difficult to hold onto. Just when you think you have it, it slips right through your fingers. Trust can be like a blanket fresh from the dryer; warm and cozy, or it can be frigid and harsh; like a blizzard in the dead of winter. In some instances, it may not exist at all.…

I feel that when I am talking to such a person, everything that will be said, will remain between us. In addition, I am sure that he will not lie to me and will give me advice that will help me. A reliable friend often turns into a confidant. Since every person needs someone to share his most personal experiences, I think that a reliable friend is the best thing one can have.…

Trust is the very thing that everybody in this world desires, or at least should desire from one another. Who wants to have a friendship or relationship without trust? Nobody does. Without trust, there is no friendship, and without friendship, there is no love. I believe that trust is an even greater compliment than to be loved! I believe George Macdonald said it best when he stated "To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved." When I read this quote for the first time, I thought to myself, "Wow that is so true. How can you be loved if you are not trusted first?"…
