Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.…
A. The revelation of the Savior (21:1–2). “Afterward Jesus appeared again to His disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias. It happened this way: Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two…

I. The Word angel in English as we know it is angel. Well the word comes from the Greek word. Angelo means messenger. The Hebrew word means Malak which can also mean messenger. Malachi in the bible got his name from the word Malak so that his name has a meaning of messenger or angel. This fact really interests me because I was going to name my son Malachi; I really wish I would have named him Malachi now that I have learned this. I have discovered in the Old Testament theology included a belief in angels. In haven there was certain spiritual intelligences, they worked for God just like they were ministers of His will. I foswund lots of verses that relate the topic of angles to theology. One of them is Matthew 11;30, I like it because it gives me a vivid description of angels. Angels are purely spiritual or bodiless. Matthew 11;30.…
There have been numerous stories about angels, and virtually every child has at one point or another heard about their guardian angel. It seems that a day does not go by without hearing some sort of a story whereby someone was helped in one way or another by a supernatural creature that most recognize as angelic. The point is that the…

Also expect reference to Swinburne’s principle of credulity and principle of testimony. Maximum Level 2 if summary of types of religious experience with no reference to argument for God.…
All around the world, there's one topic a lot of people talk about. Some people talk about economics, some talk about pop culture. The topic I'm going to be addressing is why I think Aliens are real. Throughout time, there has been many things that make us believe they are real, like the Roswell Incident. A quick recap of what happened was that what is thought to be a UFO crashed near a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico. The U.S. government then took the UFO and told everyone that what the crash was just debris from the crash of an experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon belonging to what was then a classified (top secret) program named Mogul. This may seem unlikely and unrealistic, as if coming from a movie, but that is because this inspired many alien movies to prop up. This might be one of or maybe the most famous alien incidents ever reported, but there is a more believable one and that is “The Wow Signal”. In 1977, The Big Ear radio telescope in Ohio State University picked up an unusual signal. The Big Ear used number and letters to identify the strength of a signal, 0 being nothing, Z being a strong radio signal. One time, a signal came in reading ‘6EQUJ5’ from what seemed to be an empty spot in space. Dr. Jerry R. Ehman recognized this and was completely shocked, so he circled the signal in the data sheet and wrote next to it “Wow!”, giving the signal it’s name. The closest star to where the signal came from was 220 million light years away, meaning the signal came from out of no where. It is believed that this signal was transmitted by aliens, but we still have no actual proof it is. Now, the bible does say we are the only planet with living beings, but think about this, how big is space? We have no clue of how big it is because it is that big. Being that big, wouldn't there be a possibility that there is a world that has living beings in it? What if the society on that planet is more advanced in technology than ours and the reason they were able to…
Lazarus sisters sent word to Jesus saying that Lazarus was sick, but Jesus did not go to Bethany right away. Jesus spoke to his disciples and saith unto them "Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep." His disciples did not understand that Jesus was speaking of Lazarus 's death, so he said unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went an met him and said Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died. "Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day." Jesus said unto Martha, I am the resurrection and the life, and whoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Jesus called Lazarus forth from the tomb. This sign miracle shows the deity of Christ because he has power over…

Another situation involved in the case of this angel has to do with the religious beliefs that were evident in the concurrence of the people that arrived at the town to see the angel. Even Pelayo and his wife gave him attention when according to a neighbor, he was really an angel that came to cure their child. But they accompanied his faith with making some profit fencing the yard and charging five cents to the people interested in visiting the angel despite of Father Gonzaga's advice to maintain prudence. Besides…
The people in this story see an old man in rags with wings and quickly start to judge his existence. “The parish priest had his first suspicion of an imposter when he saw that he did not understand the language of God or know how to greet His ministers.” The priest, Father Gonzaga, is the first to lay judgment upon the helpless creature, by calling him an imposter, because they did not speak the same language. This shows how quick we are to judge others just because they are different from us or because we are scared them, not knowing their situation or their background. “Then he came out of the chicken coop and in a brief sermon warned the curious against the risks of being ingenuous. He reminded them that the devil had the bad habit of making use of carnival tricks in order to confuse the unwary. He argued that if wings were not the essential element in determining the different between a hawk and an airplane, they were even less so in the recognition of angels.” Father Gonzaga confirms that this was no angel and warned the people that this may be the work of the devil. Being that father Gonzaga is a priest, this made the people believe everything he said, even though he was wrong.…
The earliest written eyewitness account of the resurrection is actually not in the gospels. The earliest account is found in 1 Cor 15:1-11. 1 Corinthians was…
In the article “Good and Bad Reasons for Believing”, Richard Dawkins argues that you should only believe something once it has been proven by evidence. He also claims that tradition, authority and revelation are three bad reasons to believe something. In this paper I will critically analyse Dawkins’ theory and explain why I agree with his viewpoint as described in the article.…
2 Can we prove the world we are experiencing is real? How do we know we are not dreaming, living in a Platonic cave, or trapped in some sort of matrix?…
