If the vantage point is faith it could be religious in nature, but if the vantage point is rationality and philosophically then religion is just a psychological projection. Unlike fundamentalism, mysticism and apologetics, psychological projection denies the existence of God as an objective, rational and existing being. God, according to this view, is just a human construct. This argument was supported by great thinkers like Karl Marx and Ludwig Feuerbach, which conclude that religion is just a result of the human psyche.
