Why Did The United Kingdom Become The Most Powerful Country Essay
The reason why the United Kingdom became the most powerful country in the world, it was caused by different historical events. At first, in the 16th century Renaissance affected people to emancipate the mind. In the 1588 British defeated the Spanish Armada and the Netherlands Navy and began to establish maritime supremacy. In 1640, the bourgeoisie united with the new nobles and led the broad masses of the people. With the sharp social contradictions, the restoration of the Stuart dynasty through parliamentary struggles, civil wars, establishment of the Republic, and Cromwell’s military dictatorship (1660). The Glorious Revolution of 1688, this revolution represented the rise of the bourgeoisie and the fall of the feudal power. The Glorious Revolution ensured that the powerful economic interests in the community could exert their influence over Government policy [1]. After English revolution, the long-term political stability in the UK has created a satisfying environment for the progressing fairly development of the social economy. Those events were the roots of the British Empire.

During the industrial revolution, British experienced a series of technological innovations, especially the invention of steam engines.
