Granville Woods was born on April 23,1856 , he was born in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Martha Brown and Cyrus Woods. They stayed in many places but the main four was Ohio, Springfield, Cincinnati, and New York City.“Woods had 3 siblings but only 1 was really around a lot his brother Lyates Woods who also helped Granville as they became older.
