Why Are So Many Westerners Converting To Islam Article Analysis
When I first read about the title of this article, I was excited because it sounds like it was such a big issue in the western countries. That triggers me to respond to this paper. I like the title by CBN.com in his article [1] “Why are so many westerner converting to Islam?” , which states the reasons for the growth in Muslim population was due to recent immigration and the high birth rate of Muslims and not specifically due to conversion. Still, the number of those who converted to Islam is significant. I believe that westerners wanted to search the purpose of this life after they fill empty in their life although they had already achieved what they want. It was clear that westerners need the strong support in this life, so they end up by search something that suitable with their heart. Most of westerners find out that Islam as a religion that can fulfill what they search in this life. In my opinion, Islam has a way of living that more manageable, as an example in Islam there is way to communicate nicely with family, community and animals. This is shows that how details Islam when deal with lifestyle as a human. I felt that the westerners do not get complete direction to refer as a guide in this life. I can see that relationship among westerners family when compare with Muslims family. In Islam, mothers and fathers will often sleep with their young child to make sure that they grow up with loved and secure. Of course there are a lot of different with westerner family; mothers and fathers frequently do not sleep with their young child since they are born. Since born the westerners do not put family as the first priority in this …show more content…
I know that still too many westerners do not agree to say that Islam a religion of peace because they know about Islam from the news media as a major source. As far as I know, the news media in the West is always revealed crisis among Muslims in the Middle East. Therefore, westerners see Islam as a terrorist without have opportunity to know the real Islam is. I think people especially westerners should know that Islam teaches that true peace can only be obtained by living as a Muslims that believe there is only One God, Allah

The Middle East went from a low social economic status to one of the most growing regions in the world as Islam came and changed the lives of the people living in the Middle East. As the journey of Islam began to spread and develop a new “Middle East” came to play. When people see these groups killing people they automatically think that Islam is behind it, but what they don’t know is that these small groups actually kill more Muslims than they do non-muslims. These small groups take peace away from people. These small groups are causing a lot trouble and hiding behind the name of Islam. According to me, I don’t even think these small groups are Muslims. Islam does not tell to kill, rape people. As long as these groups exist, Islam will have bad name to the public. According to Wikipedia 93.7% of the Muslim people are against these groups and there is more than one billion Muslim people live in the world and counting. Then people in America need to know these things and learn instead of hating, protesting, etc. I believe that some American people just hate the religion in general because there some people who educate themselves and still don’t differentiate Muslims in…

When reading both of these articles the one that really stood out to me in terms of interest was the article Women & Islam: The rise and rise of convert. This article really stood out to me because of the staggering statistics about how many of the converts was women. During the last decade 100,000 Britons have converted to Islam from their previous religion and seventy percent of the converts were women (Peppiatt 1). This statistic is up from the previous decade which only 60,000 Britons had converted (Peppiatt 1). It is so curious to why there is such an increase in the number of converts into the religion of Islam and why so many of them are women. In the article it describes the different difficulties these women go through as they have converted from their previous religion to their current religion, Islam.…
