Who Is The Evil In Lord Of The Flies
We have all wondered are people essentially good or evil. In lord of the flies we see many examples of good hearted people and other people who are just simply evil. Roger and Jack seemed to be the most pure evil ones out of the book. Seeing them and how they acted towards everyone, we wonder are they just evil or do they have good intentions even though it surely doesn't look like it.
"On top of the sow, stabbing downward with his knife..... Jack found the throat and the hot blood spouted over his hands." When the boys were stranded on the island Jack wanted some of the boys dead. Jack was able to convince the boys to kill Simon, the boys kill Simon because they were all going crazy on the island. Jack also got Sam and Eric tell where Ralph

    In the midst of danger, one will make irrational decisions. On the island, the boys are faced with many types of fears. Once the boys hear that there is a “beastie” on the island, one of Jack’s first ideas is to hunt it down. When Ralph doesn’t agree that they should be out searching for the beast, conflicts arise among Jack and Ralph which result in the separation of group.
