I really liked the Call of the Wild. The protagonist is Buck, of course. The protagonist is also John Thornton at some points in the novel and movie. The antagonist is Spitz, when he is alive. Now, the antagonist is Buck’s owners. The setting is in The Klondike and Dawson. The theme of The Call of the Wild is animals retain their natural instincts. Buck is a very brave dog. One night, huskies were attacking the village so buck figured he would make his move to try and kill Spitz.
