Who Is Responsible For Mercutio's Death
In Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Act 3, Scene 1, Mercutio dies. The Capulets and the Montagues are both responsible for his death because of the longstanding family feud, Mercutio being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the relationship between Romeo and Juliet. {{Good job!}}

Mercutio was not a Capulet or Montague, but a friend of Romeo who was a Montague. So by association, Mercutio is an enemy to the Capulets.
