Who Is Responsible For Doodle's Death
Are you a big brother? Do you have a big brother? If so then I know you will agree with me. He is not responsible for doodles death. Because he loved him. He pulled him around in a cart everywhere he went. He taught him to walk. He played with him. He cried when he died and didn't want him to die. That is why he is not responsible for his death.

Many of you may wonder why I Don't think he’s responsible for doodles death. Well here’s why. “At first i just paraded him around the pizza,”pg 386. Why would he pull him around and not just kill him like he wanted to earlier. Notice he no longer is planning to kill him. Also i would hate to have to pull my little brother around. However he is doing it without complaint. Also here’s another quote. “I dragged him across the burning cotton field to share with him the only beauty I know, Old Woman Swamp.”pg 387. He has learned to accept doodle and be a big brother to doodle. Also, since doodle wouldn't be able to do this stuff alone. Hes teaching him and showing him how to do it. …show more content…
To walk. “ Im going to teach you to walk doodle!” pg 388. He’s acting like a true big brother. Hes teaching doodle to walk and to gain self confidence and worth. Also now that he can walk he can go to school and meet new people. He wasn't gonna be able to do that before. “Doodle walked only because I was ashamed of having a crippled brother.” pg 389. He's admitting to himself that he loves him. and he feels horrible that he's was so ashamed of having doole as a crippled brother. Also through his tears he’s proving to doodle that he actually cares for

    The quote, “The knowledge that Doodle’s and my plans had come to naught was bitter, and that streak of cruelty within me awakened.
