Who Is Leonardo Da Vinci?
Leonardo da Vinci is arguably the most famous figure of the Renaissance. He is an Italian painter that used linear perspective to show the three dimensional real life on two-dimensional surfaces. At about the age of thirty, he moved to Milan to work for the Duke of Milan, which during the he was there, he painted The Last Supper . During the first decade of the sixteenth century, the Italian city-states and territories launched into war that spanned from Milan to Rome. With the Catholic Church’s condemnation of his work happening simultaneously with the war, da Vinci fled to Paris under the sponsorship of the French court of Francois I . While living in France, he painted the world renowned Mona Lisa, the world’s most well known portrait. One
