Who Is Hail Caesar Awesome
Hail Caesar is set in the 1950's when Hollywood was in its prime. Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) works for a major film company and his job is extremely tough. He works 24/7 to get Hollywood actors in order and ensure that movies are completed on time. In other words, he's the fixer. He mediates between the spoiled movie stars who think that everything revolves around them and producers who are always in a hurry and want to get things done, but don't have the stomach or the patience to deal with all the shit that comes with dealing with movie stars.

Most of the time, Mannix is able to resolve anything with a few compliments and a beer or two. His job gets a lot more difficult when a major movie star, Baird Whitlock (George Clooney), unexplainably vanishes from the premises. Mannix got a lot on his plate but you better believe that he will be able fix everything. With a name like that, you just know that nothing is impossible for him. …show more content…
Beside having an interesting plot, Hail Caesar is funny, borderline hilarious. You might not fall off the couch, but it does have a decent amount of funny scenes and clever dialogues. However, note that not everyone likes the Coen brothers and if you are one of those people, you probably won't find this movie amusing. But, before you decide not to watch Hail Caesar, you should know that the following scenes take place in the movie:

    Even in his absence or death, the manner in which characters address Caesar, describe him, and act in his presence, reveals the authority and influence he has over people's lives. From the first scene, Caesar is presented as victorious, having vanquished his rival, Pompey, and as an extremely popular figure among the people, with the commoners even defying authorities to celebrate his victory.
