When a Day Went Wrong
A day when everything went wrong Life has its ups and downs, highs and lows. Sometimes you feel as if you are on top of the world, other times you feel as if everyone or everything has turned against you. I intensely recall a day when nothing went as I expected. Everything seemed out to get me, to trick me. It was the hardest test of my patience and perseverance.

My parents were away for one week holiday, and I was home alone without any restrain. Meanwhile I can watch my lovely movie until early in the morning.

It was a glorious morning. The chirping birds signaled a new day ahead "Ring..." the alarm clock rang madly, rudely awakening me from my deep slumber. Horror of horrors, I was late for work! I rushed to the bathroom for a quick wash and turned on the tap. Scrambling around the house like a madcap, I managed to dress myself in just a few seconds, breaking my usual record.

I thought, and settled on some orange juice and a croissant. Only a small dribble came from the carton, so I snatched another. But, pulling at it too hard, I wrenched the top off by mistake. A dam-burst of juice flooded down over my clean top. Oh No! I dashed upstairs to change again!

At long last, I was ready but the bus had gone. So I got to wait for the next bus. Having a great sigh, I consigned myself to it with some trepidation and started my journey.

When the bus reached, I put my hand in my pocket to pay for the bus fare, I was horrified to find the pocket empty. I had no money! "What shall I do?" As the bus driver was waiting for me. So I got to run back to get my wallet and waiting for the next bus again!

Finally sit in the bus, but everybody is looking at me. I wonder something wrong on my face, so I try to wipe and took out the mirror at the same time. Oh dear! It was so dirty with my messy hair, and I wear a pair of slipper to work. So embarrassed!

I managed to reach office without doing myself anymore bodily harm.

When I was a senior in high school, all seniors were to do a senior project. That consisted of choosing a topic and doing volunteer work that has to do with your topic. So I chose The American Red Cross. I was going to be going to a blood drive for my volunteer work. I was a very nervous person and pretty shy. I had to drive 45 minutes to the Red Cross center. Once I got there, the lady brought me to my station and showed me what I would be doing throughout the day. I was told to cross the donors names off the list once they donated and to serve them snacks and drinks after they were finished. She then left me alone and went off to her office. I started to feel like i had to poop when i realized I had no idea where the restrooms were. I was too scared to leave my job and go find a restroom so I just st! arted farting and hoping the pains would go away. Then finally I knew if i farted one more time that shit would pour out instead of a fart. After clenching the cheeks for a while, I couldn’t hold it anymore so I decided to fart and hope for the best. BAM, warm oozing shit slowly comes out of my ass. I was wearing tight jeans and knew it would show through. As soon as that happened, that lady came back in to check on me along with a few other people that she was introducing me to.…

Once we got to the last step, we could feel everybody’s eyes burning at us. Three rows from the bus door there was an empty seat next to a student. I attempted to sit there, and the student took his back pack, and put it on the seat next to him. I just kept walking. My sister was also trying to sit next to another student; that student also put her bag pack on the seat next to her. One student after another placed their pack backs on the seats next to them. With my eyes full of tears, I looked at my sister with shock. She held my hand very tight, and I felt she might break it. To make matters worse one of the students shouted, “Aren’t you supposed to ride a camel, not a bus?”…

Throughout the world there are many different people who go through different trials and tribulations. Human history and existence today would not be what it is if we didn’t have to struggle a bit to get what we want. I feel this also applies to an individual person’s life too. Everyone has different struggles in their life, but it’s the ones that press on and fight through the pain that show their inner warrior. There are beautiful qualities about life, and other things that’ll make you wonder why you’re here. When these dark times come, and yes they will come, don’t run away from them and fold up and hide. Embrace them! Look at the situation in place and take everything in stride. Some…

Ok, now you get on the bus, then you got to deal with the bus drivers’ tacky attitude whilst paying for your bus fare and now you look around for a seat to sit on. But the thing is there are a lot of thrash such as an empty glass bottle rolling from one end of the bus to another or dark chewing gum stain on them seats. And here I am almost forgetting about those monsters some people call ‘chavs’, so…

I held my breath to avoid the harsh taste that lodges deep into my lungs from the bus exhaustion. I walked onto the cold mustard colored bus and saw my friend Anna sitting on the rough piece of plastic they call a seat. She sat arms crossed shivering to the negative two degree wind chill, the only thing keeping her warm was a red ball of yarn that rested on top of a black woven beanie. I waved hello and sat adjacent to her to avert the temptation of…

Life is beautiful. We all love it and we want to get as much a pleasure from it as we can. However many unexpected things happened through our life and they impact us differently. Good things encourage us to go on, and bad things push us toward our life’s improvement. All together they give us life experience and knowledge. In the book Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, the author tells us about his professor’s life’s greatest lesson and about how many unexpected circumstances affected his life. In my life some events happened also, and as in Morrie’s life they have impacted my life too.…

Of the more than 300 breeds of dogs that exist worldwide, 150 are recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC), the primary kennel club in the United States. Since its founding in 1884 the AKC registers purebred dogs—dogs whose parents and ancestors were of the same breed since the breed was first recognized. More than one million such dogs are registered annually. Kennel clubs in other countries, such as the Canadian Kennel Club, the Kennel Club of England, and the Japanese Kennel Club, use their own standards in recognizing dog breeds.…
