What Was Beowulf's Confidence
Beowulf’s confidence throughout the story serves him as an asset in his fight against Grendel and Grendel’s mother, but when he needed it the most it served as a tragic flaw when fighting the Dragon. Beowulf had relied on this trait to help him in battle, but when he was no longer in heroic condition it failed him and lead to his death.
