What Type Of Leader Do I Want To Be Cchu
What type of leader do I want to be?
There are many types of leaders in the world, but the type of leader that I want to be is a type of monarchic leader. This is because I want to solve problems efficiently. For instance, if a group of people are the leaders they would discuss and argue about the problems, but this method is to slow which never really solves the problem when it needs to be solve. However, if it was a single person that was the leader the problem would be solved quickly and efficiently. I do wish to be a more of a singular leader but that does not mean I will be like a dictator over my group I still plan to listen to opinions of other group members. For example, if there was a problem in the community I might take a type of poll to see the opinions of the people and make a decision from what I heard for the betterment of the community. I still want to listen to others, but the decision would ultimately be mine. Also as a single leader I don’t want to force people to listen to me. I want to be charismatic leader so that they want to follow and believe in me. Overall, I would prefer to be a singular type of leader. I would be able to solve problems efficiently on my own, but still listen and lead the people in a way where they feel heard a listened to.

According to Reh (2014), a leader is a “person who has a vision, a drive and a commitment to achieve that vision, and the skills to make it happen” (para. 2). I want to be a leader; however I must understand my leadership style at this moment to understand where I am at, where I want to be, and what I need to do to get there. Raines (2014) states “your style defines your values and perspective, and being aware of it will aid your communication with those you work with” (para. 1).…

Leaders are everywhere in our world. They constantly surround us and tell us what to do. Leaders have shaped our history and are constantly shaping our future. Some excellent examples of good leaders are Adolf Hitler and Julius Caesar. We might not agree with some of the policies that Hitler performed, however, we can conclude that his excellent leadership skills allowed him to effectively govern about 69 million citizens. Caesar’s quick and decisive personality granted Caesar the title, Dictator, of the Roman Empire. Under Caesar’s rule, the Roman Empire vastly expanded its borders through military annexations. But, with all things foretold, what designates someone the power to lead people? There are several factors that bring about a good leader. The three main factors incorporate communication, confidence, and commitment. Anybody that decides to encompass these factors, will not only be a good leader, but they will also be an effective and a revolutionary leader.…

To me, leadership is leading by example. My years in high school have shown me that the person who builds people up, and shows kindness is more of a leader than someone who commands and controls people. I strive to be this kind, caring person who others can look up to. As I grow older, I hope that by doing the right things, I can inspire others to do the same.…

I’m interested in leading others because I like my ideas to be heard and I’m comfortable in front of people. A good leader should be open minded, have a decent set of problem solving skills, and be able to take charge. I think that if a leader has lead a group into making a wrong decision, then they should be fully prepared to take the blame. When I was little I was super shy and self-conscious but when I got to high school I discovered a class called Positive Peer Influence that really changed me. The class helped me develop problem solving skills, people skills, and has helped me learn to voice my opinion instead of worrying about what everybody else will think of me. I thought I was a follower when I joined that class but it helped me realize that I truly am a leader.…
