What Subject Do I Like Best?
WHAT SUBJECT DO I LIKE BEST?

In school, of all the classes I have to take, I like P.E. most. Why? There are three simple reasons why I love it: there is no homework, it helps me stay healthy, and last, it is quite relaxing to learn.

First, the homework part, for me, it’s a dream comes true when there’s no homework for me to do. I am kind of obsessed with homework. I open my eyes thinking about homework, I eat thinking about homework, I even take a bath thinking about homework. So it’d be nice to have at least one subject that doesn’t require my thinking about homework. And that’s the first reason why I like physical education.

Second, about the true value of this subject, it helps us me stay strong. Obviously, P.E. helps us improving our health. Students are very careless about their own good by doing things that harm them in the way that they don’t know, such as: sitting in front of the computers for hours, watching television for much too long, and many more. Those are the habits that are quite hard for children to change. And that’s when P.E. comes into place. It make us do workouts, prevent us from getting out of shape and of course, no one wants to be fat because of one simple reason: you won’t look attractive to other people and maybe that special someone is one of those “people”.

And last but not least, there’s absolutely no pressure learning this subject. You don’t have to pay much attention when studying. There’s almost nothing too complicated about P.E. compare to other classes like Math, Physics, Chemistry… and so that’s the last reason I like this.

In conclusion, P.E. is the subject I like best and those are the reasons why. How about you? What’s your favorite

Physical Education is important because it teaches people how to stay physically fit and live a healthy lifestyle. I believe that physical education is a necessary thing to be taught in both a school and home setting. With the advancement of technology, it seems that people are getting lazier and more overweight. This is obviously an issue in the United States. Therefore, I believe it is important for every individual to be taught physical education and to stay physical fit throughout the course of life.…

The assignment that I learned the most from was the Week Two assignment about the digestive system. I now understand how the body uses the different types of food, the path food takes as it enters the body, and how the organs, including the salivary glands work together in the digestive process. However, my favorite part of Week Two came through the class discussions in the area of home remedies. I learned how a change in diet can prevent or help to cure digestive disorders. For example, Diverticulus can be treated at home by drinking plenty of fluid and eating fiber rich foods, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc. I enjoyed this part the most because I was forced to take medicine for an extended period of time and I really did not enjoy that experience. Therefore, learning natural ways to bring relief was truly refreshing for me.…

My First class is ceramics. I have loved this class since day one because I love hands on projects. In ceramics we start our day off with working on our sketches aka bellwork. Once the 10 minutes is up we work on our projects. So far we have made a bowl, a sphere that shows movement and currently we are working on a mug. We have learned a lot on the tools that we a using. For an example the slab roller has flattened all the clay that helps us cut even…

U.S. News reported “that 55.5 percent of all high school students play a sport.” Students only have a few free class periods to choose what classes to take because of the number of required classes built into schedules. One of these required classes is Physical Education. Allowing student athletes to count the extracurricular sport they play as a P.E. credit will give them numerous advantages. This change will positively affect over half of high school students’ lives. Extracurricular sports should be counted as a physical education credit because sports are not only more beneficial than P.E., but it would allow student athletes to be less stressed about homework due to an open class period. This will enable students to perform better in school and in their sport due to less stress and better focus.…

For example, learning all these subjects in one class helped me not be bored, as frank as that sounds. When I took these classes separately in high school, I would get annoyed because they all were so similar and nothing would overlap and it was just so much separate work. I like the setup of homework and the papers. Reading is one of my favorite things, therefore having to read for class and then having to write a first pass benefited my learning. Just having lectures separated by subjects but still incorporating other subjects is really helpful for me. I really appreciate the intertwining dynamic between the classes and…

My sophomore year, this year, I enrolled in the AP physics class. Honestly, I only enrolled in this class rather than the chemistry class for two reasons. Firstly, my school does not offer an honors chemistry class and I thought it would not be challenging enough. Secondly, I have a huge interest in math and math related problems. Physics is like a huge application problem class.…

    Why I Liked Psychology 1a

When we first began our class in the summer I was already pretty excited about all the different types of things we were going to learn and talk about over this semester. I have always found the subject of psychology to be very interesting and now I was getting the chance to actually take a psychology class. Here was my oppertunity to get a closer look into how our brains work and find out a little bit more about why we act the way we do. I think just about everyone would be at least slighty interesting in learning about these things. It not only helps you understand other people, but it also opens up a little window into your own head and helps you understand yourself that much more. As generally curious humans we always want to know more about ourselfs and others so the study of psychology is something just about everyone might be, at the very least, slightly interested in.…

They wouldn’t experience improved brain power, a way to manage stress, or to continue/start to make good healthy choices later in life. In school it’s good to get your brain refreshed, and that’s what PE offers. Students stimulate their brain and increase their brainpower for the next class. School is a stressful environment when one has so many things to worry about. The students with PE are lucky because they get a chance, during school, to relieve some stress and focus better in the day. All together the class ensures that if students continue to exercise, they’ll have less worries. You should make it your priority that PE stays as a requirement in high school. Get out there and spread the…

The History coursework left me feeling quite like a relic, left on a dusty shelf while all my mates were in the park playing football. I had to sacrifice my time of enjoyment in the park, to complete my History coursework. Isn’t that unfair? Not only this, but I have been told that, my subject P.E will soon be replaced by the intervention of a “coursework catch up,” class. When I heard this, I was not pleased to say the least. I strongly believe that P.E should not be replaced by the teaching of another subject. What has happened to that old adage “healthy mind and in healthy body”? Don’t people believe in it anymore? P.E ensures that we don’t become couch potatoes and not only keeps us trim but sends neurones in our brains running at a furious pace.…
