Listen closely as I tell you about a talented pianist who grew up to be a famous landscape photographer. Ansel Adams was born on February 20, 1902 in San Francisco, California. When he was young he taught himself how to play the piano on his family’s piano, and for a long time he thought he was going to be a famous pianist. . After reading a picture book on Yosemite National Park in California Adams wanted to see the place with his own eyes. During the trip Adams’ parents surprised him with a new camera. Even though it was a simple camera Adams loved it! This is where Adams’ passion of photography began.
