Research and analyze the key historical steps that have lead to the transformation of the Cold War Internet to the modern day age of Internet communication.
Unlike Technologies like the light bulb or even the telephone, no one singly invented the internet. It has evolved over time. The internet got its start in the United States more than 50 years ago as a government weapon in the Cold War. For years, scientist and researchers used it to talk and share data with one another. Today, we seem to use the internet for almost everything we do like pay bills, shop, and even find love.
In 1962 we had the birth of ARPAnet scientist and military experts were especially concerned about what could happen if a Soviet attack on the nation’s telephone system might happen .

That year, a computer programmer in Switzerland named Tim Berners-Lee introduced the World Wide Web; an Internet that was not simply a way to send files from one place to another but was itself a “web” of information that anyone on the internet could retrieve.
