I believe that I am a practical thinker. I believe this to be true because I do not always have the best habits and often need to remind myself of what habits I need to change. This is something that I have had to work hard on my entire life, and will probably spend the rest of my life working on. I have a lot of bad habits that I need to turn into good ones. I procrastinate and tend to get things done at the last minute, and I need to start doing things before they need to be done. Sometimes I feel as though I’m more in stage 1 the Unreflective Thinker. Although I think, I’m unaware of how my thinking is structured or how to asses and improve it. At times when I experience problems in thinking, I feel as though I lack the skills to identify and fix the problems. Take my job for example, when dealing with irate customers I take a step back and look at it from their perspective; however, I feel as though I lack the confidence to help the customers fix their problems. There are also times when it’s busy and short drivers, I have to come up with a decision that requires me to think things through before making a final decision. Since I am a dispatcher, it is up to me to ensure the drivers arrive at their destination within twenty minutes and ensure all drivers get their turn at running calls.…

Like I have said I’m an addict and just to be able to come to that thinking process was the hardest thing I have ever done. I was in deny and block the thought of being an addict. I’m more open to the idea that I have or had a problem. I try to change my thinking pattern around more now than before. I look at different solution in a whole new light. I try to figure out why something is the way it is then just saying it is what it is. I want to know what caused it, how to fix it and how I could have done it different. I tend to ask question when I’m stuck but I still try to dominate others to get what I want. I also believe that I’m in this thinking stage because I still can remember being in the Challenged Thinker stage and being able to remember where you was and where you are now is very…
