What Is Oklahoma City Bombing?
The Oklahoma City Bombing took place on April 19, 1995. It was considered to be the worst terrorist attack that took place in the U.S. until September 11, 2001. The methods of the attack were very simple. A very large, homemade bomb was placed inside a rental truck outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The bomb was detonated at 9:02 a.m., leaving critical damages to the building, as well as killing and wounding many others.
