It is extremely important to have a full and up to date agreed ways of working as these are the foundation for the practice of the organisation and if they are “out of date” could potentially cause harm to service users and other employees.

It is important social care workers stick to the limits of their job as going outside their ”scope of practice” can lead to harm and injury to themselves and others and even harmful errors

There are many procedures and guidelines that have been put into place to enable every employee including myself to be able to proceed with my job in a professional manner and also to make sure that I can complete every job to the best of my abilities.
