Abstract Since Untied States was founded in 1776 Americans have experienced independence from the British. This country representative democracy is bounded by the constitution. Leaders impacts a social influence in which one person can rejoin the scullion and sponsorship of others in the accomplishment of a specific duty. Who makes a good leader; someone who is feared or loved? Research concludes leader ship and the trait theory that leads a commander to have authority over society or a social issue. The act of intimidation from fear leaders makes society compile to obedience. Good leaders imply their code of ethics when facing a social concern to bring a solution in hand. Factors of leadership involve the leader, situation, communication. Boss or leader? Bass theory of leadership helps determine the difference. This research paper covers the principles of leadership and how it effects the populace. What are the roles and relationships of the culture and climate when it comes down to leadership?

What Is Leadership? Leaders carry out the process by applying their leadership knowledge and skills. This is called process leadership (Jago, 1982). However, we know that we have traits that can influence our actions. This is called trait leadership (Jago, 1982), in what was once common to believe that leaders were born rather than made (North house, 2007, p.5). When leadership is learned, the skills and knowledge processed by the leader can be influenced by his or hers attributes or traits, such as beliefs, values, ethics and character (Jago, 1982). What erects a leader to bring leadership? Everyday society faces issues from jobs to racism. According to Sociology (2010), social conflict is a framework for building theory that sees society as an arena of inequality that generates conflict and change. Phobia guidance does not make populace comprehend actions instead

The project I chose to demonstrate my leadership on was to go around the Frostburg community picking up recycling and then dumping it in a local landfill. I first chose this project to work on because I thought, how could I help Frostburg and give back to the community? By recycling products and going green, these products can eventually be reprocessed and re-used without having it go to waste. I mainly decided to collect recycling to maintain and keep Frostburg clean and liter free. It establishes a healthy environment for locals, students and staff around the area. Going green and keeping the community environmentally friendly is highly stressed around the world today. Any kind of helpful service regarding recycling is beneficial to the environment and that’s what I planned to do. It is important for me to serve Frostburg by recycling because it isn’t the first time for me. Throughout my early years I have gone around collecting trash and recyclable goods through certain groups such as church camps and other clubs. I learned a lot about why it is important to recycle and ways to do it.…

Throughout this semester I have learned a lot about the inner workings of leadership and teamwork. I have had experience with leadership and teamwork while performing makeup supervisor duties prior to my apprenticeship. Business 112 gave me a different perspective about working with people and engaging a team. While performing the team project I found myself using various ILead principles. These principles guided my actions and steered me in the right direction. Something else that helped me stay focused was setting goals and allowing others to know my personal expectations. Overall, I believe that Business 122 helped me understand the tools needed to be an effective leader.…

According to Northousse the process of leadership is for individuals to be influenced to achieve the goals and commitments of the organization (Northouse, 2016). Peter Northouse defines Transformational leadership as the process whereby a person engages with others and creates a connection that raises the level of motivation and morality in the both the leader and the follower (Northouse, 2013. pg. 186). Being a transformative leader to me means you are a person who commits their self to a wholehearted role that builds potential positive changes in the group he/she is leading. The transformative leader is passionate about their work and ability to make others better and excited about their roles in their organization/company. In transformative leadership, the leaders flourish when they are able to both assist and empower members of their organization; this of course leads to positive change. As a transformative leader, they cannot be afraid to take risks and understand that without a change whether failure or success, there could be no chance for positive transformation. Transformative leaders have to earn the trust of their group of people working together, without their trust all the accomplishments achieved are in vain. The most important and effective transformative leader always remembers to be humble and possess a great sense of selfawareness. Even though every day I may not always feel like a leader, I have to push my limits so I can exhibit leadership skills to the best of my ability because people will always look up to me either as an example or for my faults. As the former Lead Peer Educator and Suicide Awareness/LGBTQ advocate, I must show my students here at B-CU, that I am passionate and committed about what these issues as well as issues that affect any student identifying with…
